Autumn 2023 Market Stability Survey

Thank you to all those who completed the recent survey sent out from us via SESCA (The South East Social Care Alliance).

While response rates across the South East weren’t high enough to present the data as representative of the SE overall, in Hampshire, we had a great response to this request for information. This has allowed us to present the findings here as indicative of the county.

You can read the report findings below, or you can download the document by clicking on the open button:

We will be sharing this with Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council and we hope the information will be useful as we approach discussions around the annual uplift. It will also be useful as we move forward with efforts to push for a stable and secure social care sector here in Hampshire that achieves the best outcomes for those in receipt of care.

A summary of the findings is found at the start of the document.

Thank you again for the amazing engagement on this survey. This really helps drive forward our discussions on behalf of our members.

Best wishes,

Hampshire Care Association team

Hampshire Care Monthly Survey – First Findings Published

A few months ago, Hampshire Care Association started a monthly ‘snap survey’ of care homes across the county. This will enable us to keep in touch with live concerns at ground level for care providers.

The findings from the first three surveys have now been published:

We are grateful to all of the providers who took part, and hope to continue to build the number of responses we get each month. Click here to complete the December 2023 survey
