Who are we?
Albany Care Group is a small privately-owned business supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities / Mental Health / Challenging Behaviour / Autism and other complex needs, with homes located in and around Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Northampton.
We always base our personalised support on the specific needs, choices and ambitions of the individual. As a Registered Manager you will be assisting with all aspects of daily life to ensure that individuals thrive within our environment and you will be accountable for the day to day running and leadership of the home.
The ideal candidate must have experience with people that may demonstrate challenging behaviours and a understanding of complex needs. We would like our Home Manager to have a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, a Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience working in a Home Managers role. If you have a positive outlook and are prepared for a challenge, then this is the ideal role for you.
What we are looking for;

· Previous experience of good ratings with CQC
· Knowledge of CQC standards
· Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards
· Excellent decision-making skills
· Excellent organisational and communication skills
· Have a “cando” attitude
Key roles;
· To ensure that the home is maintained and run-in accordance with the Care Quality Commission Guidelines.
· To assist in leading a team of staff providing care within the home.
· To ensure that all-current legislation in relation to Health & Safety, Employment Law and Care provision are adhered to all times
· To maintain the home within the budgetary constraints as determined by the funding authorities and by direction from the Directors.
· To ensure the safe running of the home on a 24hrs basis – this may include on call duties also.
· To attend service reviews, care planning meetings, reviews and home meetings
· To recognise and ensure that the people we support being given a first class, safe and secure service.
· To protect and safeguard vulnerable adult, staff and visitors from all forms of abuse or neglect
