We are very excited to announce that nominations are now live for the Hampshire Care Associations 2024 Care Awards!
So everyone get ready to dress up, and celebrate as HCA recognise the amazing work that our sector do.
This year we are looking for nominations in the 14 categories listed below. If you would like to make a nomination, click on the relevant link and fill the nomination form:
- Residential Care Home of the Year
- Nursing Home of the Year
- Home Care Provider of the Year
- Manager of the Year
- Frontline Leader of the Year
- Carer of the Year
- Ancillary Employee of the Year
- Chef / Cook of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Newcomer to Care of the Year
- Activity Coordinator of the Year
- Outstanding Innovation & Best Practice Award
- Excellence in Delivering Dementia Care
- International Recruitment Best Practice Employer Award 2024
- In addition HCA will be presenting their prestigious Blue Rose Award
Tickets will go on sale from 26th April through Eventbrite.
Rules & Guidance
All online nominations must be submitted by midnight on Tuesday 11th April 2024
(Any nomination received after this date will not be considered.)
Finalists will be informed that they have been successful no later than Friday 26th April 2024.
The award ceremony will take place on Thursday 20th June 2024.
General Rules:
- Nominees must a care provider or an employee who are fully paid members of Hampshire Care Association in 2024.
New membership forms and Fees are due on 1st April . If a care provider has not paid the fee we will be unable to consider nominations for that provider or any staff.- Click here to renew your membership. - Nominations will only be accepted via the online nomination system and must be received by midnight on Tuesday 11th April 2024.
- Entries cannot be amended after the submission deadline. There is a 2000 word limit.
- Each category will be judged blind so please only submit the name of the nominee and the names of the home/provider once (all identifiable names etc are removed from entries so they are completely anonymous) by an independent panel of judges.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- All finalists will be given a free ticket to the awards ceremony.

General Entry Guidance:
- Entries will be judged on quality rather than quantity. One well thought out detailed entry tells the judges far more than 10 vague entries with a single sentence in each box.
